The delicate vocals and simple guitar riff on the opener/title track, “Sort of Revolution” sound as though they are building towards some sort of magical musical explosion. However, Fink’s style is understated and thus the song elegantly builds and fades without ever reaching such a peak.

Description Fink Sort Of Revolution on Vinyl LP! Fin Greenall, aka Fink, is certainly the more understated of the world's singer-songwriters, relying on uncompromising quality of work and an astounding stage presence, rather than major label marketing budgets.

Resurgam forms a distinctly bold contrast from its predecessors: Fink’s richly multi-layered studio albums have included Distance And Time (), Sort Of Revolution (), Perfect Darkness () and Hard Believer (), in addition to fruitful side-projects: the electronic reinventions of Horizontalism (), and the rootsier road trip.

Fink started out as a techno trip-hop artist then peeled back the layers until he found his inner troubadour, as seen through his May Album release, Sort of Revolution. Dec. 3, from Morning Becomes Eclectic.

Album Reviews: Fink - Sort Of Revolution. This is the third album in which Fink, aka Fin Greenall, continues the exploration of a burgeoning songwriting craft, and it confirms what the first two albums had already implied – that he’s taken to it like a duck to water.
