La joya psicodélica de Roger Waters 'Set The Controls For the Heart Of The Sun' suena increíble, y 'Let there Be [More] Light' es una indicación de la nueva dirección de Pink Floyd, posterior a Syd.. Además de esas dos canciones de lo que sería su próximo segundo álbum A Saucerful of Secrets, la banda toca dos canciones de su maravilloso álbum de debut, Piper at the Gates of Dawn.

Chloe from St. Louis, Mo is it my imagination, or did the beatles and pink floyd both heavily influence each other? there seem to be a lot of references to them in floyd songs, and a few of their songs have a bit of the same sound. theres also the fact that the beatles played in room 1 at abbey road. pink floyd played in room 2.

And on several tracks, the singing jumps out of time with the backgrounds, "Let There Be More Light" being the most obvious example. The artwork on this two-disc set is a perfect compliment to the music contained within, but the sleeve notes apparently were written in a hurry, late at night, or under the influence of recreational substances/5(16).
