   New Orleans clarinetist George Lewis teamed up with trombonist Papa Bue Jensen's Copenhagen-based Dixieland band for an LP in that has been reissued on this CD, along with five previously unreleased alternate takes.    The musicians were all first-rate, and the band uniquely combined Danish and American material, all done with a strong feeling for the New Orleans jazz tradition and the blues. This album features on of Papa Bue's best bands, and the performances are still infectious/5(2).
